River Barrier #1 Batu Bolong River

 Eight out of every ten pieces of plastic in the world come from rivers. And, if we want to make a difference, turning off the tap and stopping trash from ever making its way to the ocean in the first place is the answer. That’s why we are partnering with Sungai Watch to install our first river barrier!

We are working with our partners Sungai Watch to install a waterway barrier at the mouth of the Sungai Batu Belaga in North Sumatra, Indonesia. And, it’s all made possible thanks to support from our community!
