The Ocean Pollution Crisis

Annually, 8 million tons of trash finds its way into the ocean, killing 100 million marine animals, coral reefs, and contaminating the food chain with toxic chemicals. Once trash enters the ocean, the majority of it sinks to the ocean floor where it cannot be removed, thus it is imperative we stop trash at the source.

We are organizing cleanups around the world.

We raised over $500,000 from 7,954 backers around the world

We are three travellers that met
backpacking in Mexico in 2018.

During our years of traveling we saw that the planet we love so much is getting dumped with trash, so we decided to do something about it.

We went from Colombia to Argentina by land in 6 months while working online and developing the idea of PANGEA. By the end of the year we were selling microfiber towels on Amazon to begin raising funds.

We soon discovered that microfibers pollute the planet. So, in 2019 we did a trip to China to explore other alternatives, and that's how we found out about the bamboo towels. With that discovery, the dream of the perfect ecological travel towel started to unfold.

We dedicated the second half of 2019 to develop the product based on the feedback of more than 50 backpackers and campers, and launched it on Kickstarter in December 2019. Thanks to the success of the campaign, we were able to start organizing cleanups around the world during 2020 and collect thousands of KGs of trash from our planet with the help of hundreds of amazing volunteers.

But this is just the beginning...

Our goal is to launch 9 more innovative sustainable products, and clean up 150 countries by the end of 2023!
