Celebrating Our Successes

As we look back on the remarkable milestones of 2023, we take pride in the achievements that have propelled Pangea forward in our mission to create a cleaner, greener world. From groundbreaking innovations to impactful #environmental initiatives, here are the highlights of 2023:

• Plastic Innovation Center in Bali: Completed the design and construction of our state-of-the-art Plastic Innovation Center, a hub for groundbreaking research and development in #plasticwaste solutions.

• Upcycled Sunglasses: Designed and crafted our own sunglasses using upcycled plastic waste collected during our environmental cleanup initiatives, marrying style with #sustainability.

• Kickstarter Triumphs: Successfully completed three Kickstarter campaigns, garnering tremendous support for the launch of our eco-friendly sunglasses collections.

• Environmental Impact: Continued our mission to clean the planet through initiatives like the OceanGuard River Barrier Program and Mangrove Clean and Restoration Program, resulting in the removal of nearly 250,000 pounds (114,000 kilograms) of trash and the planting of over 2,700 #mangrove trees.

Challenges Along the Way

Despite our achievements, 2023 also presented us with a couple of valuable lessons through the hurdles we encountered during the year.

• Ambitious Growth Targets: We struggled at times to balance the demands of our ambitious growth targets, increased product development, and the expansion of our environmental impact work, highlighting the need for better strategic planning and resource allocation to meet the targets we set.

• Product Delivery Delays: We faced a few challenges in meeting product delivery dates for our crowdfunding supporters, underscoring the importance of streamlining operations, enhancing efficiency, and a stronger focus on customer communication.

Our Vision for 2024

Embracing the spirit of innovation and determination, we are looking forward to a year filled with unprecedented growth and impact. From pioneering innovations to expansive environmental initiatives, we are pushing forward in our mission to revolutionize sustainability and create a brighter future for our planet.

• Plastic Waste Innovation: Continuation of the groundbreaking research and development in our Plastic Innovation Center Lab, driving forward our mission to find innovative solutions to #plasticpollution. Look for more exciting updates on this in the coming months.

• Environmental Impact Expansion: Growing our environmental impact with a focus on new initiatives like our Ghost Gear NETwork and our new Reef Restoration Impact, aiming to further mitigate #oceanpollution and restore our #coralreefs. March 2024 will mark our first major planting and the Ghost Gear NETwork has already pulled in nearly 660 pounds (300 kilograms) of abandoned fishing nets and gear…saving vital marine eco-systems!

• New and Exciting Products: Introduction of new and exciting gear and sunglasses to further invigorate the #Pangea brand, staying true to our commitment to sustainability, style, and function.

• Enhanced Shopping Experience: Improvement of our online shopping experience and the expansion of product availability across the globe, providing customers with easier access to our eco-friendly products and a more immersive brand experience.
